"Guan County Lingzhi Mushroom" Debuts at International Mushroom Days, China 2024

On April 22, the International Mushroom Days, China 2024, kicked off with a grand opening. The "Guan County Lingzhi Mushroom" from Guan County, honored as a nationally protected geographical indication product, one of the top new products nationwide, and one of the "New Three Treasures" of Liaocheng, made its debut at the expo. The event highlighted the development of the Lingzhi Mushroom industry in Guan County.

The International Mushroom Days, China 2024, serves as a comprehensive one-stop showcase platform for the entire mushroom industry chain. More than 700 attendees, including government leaders from 18 regions, heads of 271 leading mushroom production enterprises, authoritative experts and scholars in the industry, professional supermarket and catering industry buyers, and representatives from the entire mushroom industry chain, gathered for the event. A total of 271 enterprises participated in the exhibition.

At the International Mushroom Days, China 2024, the Guan County Lingzhi Exhibition Hall drew a continuous stream of visitors interested in Guan County Lingzhi spore powder, Guan County Lingzhi wine, and Guan County Lingzhi bonsai.

The 2023 China Mushroom Regional Brand Value List was released during the expo. Guan County Lingzhi Mushroom ranked second in China's Lingzhi category with a brand value of 2.602 billion yuan, advancing one spot from last year. During this time, the International Mushroom Days, China 2024 hosted a significant guest reception and promotional event for Lingzhi Mushrooms in Guan County. Zhang Qinghui, deputy secretary of the Guan County Party Committee, presented the Guan County Lingzhi Mushroom on-site. The Guan County People's Government also signed a strategic agreement with the Mushroom Branch of the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Foodstuffs.

"Up to now, there are over 10,000 Lingzhi greenhouses covering an area of more than 10,000 acres in the county, with over 50,000 employees. The annual output includes 13,000 tons of fruiting bodies, spore powder, and over 800,000 bonsai, making it the country's largest Lingzhi cultivation and trading hub, with an annual output value of 3.05 billion yuan," said Zhang Qinghui. He further noted that in recent years, Guan County has focused on several key areas: firstly, it has been expanding its scale, nurturing the largest planting base nationwide; secondly, it has been delving into deep processing, establishing industrial parks for clustered development; thirdly, it has been constructing platforms for integrated development, fostering a trading hub; fourthly, it has aggregated data and planned for coordinated development through a digital center. It focuses on creating a high-quality development model across the entire industry chain.
